Most would have laughed at the thought before the season, but think now!

Brady, Palmer, Manning... who are perrenial PBers either are hurt or are sucking badly.

Who else??

Rivers? Good Stats, but the team is underachieving horribly...
Rothlisberger? Team is winning, but its the D not him or the offense...
Cutler? Started well, but sucking lately...
Edwards may be the most consistent in the AFC, but Penny outdueled him this week.

Not much else out there... (Lord Favre... LOL)

Chad is 2nd in the AFC in passer rating...
3rd in yards
1st in completion % (almost 70%)

Argueably hes been the best QB in the AFC this year.

It's still early, but if Pennington continues to produce at this rate, and the Dolphins continue winning, he will challenge for a roster spot in Honolulu.

this just goes to show that sometimes a player can go to another team and have success . by the by, I am officially on the Ted Ginn Bandwagon too.

This is a good point but truthfully unless the dolphins go about 9-7 or make playoffs then i think he is considered out (playing good but they will find someone playing on a very good team)

I doubt Chad goes to the Pro Bowl. Haven't you guys heard? Trent Edwards is the second coming of Jim Kelly and there is still too much man love from the experts and media for Favre.

Pennington being a pro-bowl caliber player is not far-fetched, he was at times with the Jets and probably got held out of it just because there were a lot of good QB's in the AFC for a number of years. I just wouldn't have thought that he would be this caliber this year.

I never count out a Pennington-led team. The Jets obviously forgot about the times they made the playoffs with him, but I didn't. We probably won't make the playoffs this year but we are still laying very competitive football.

If we are out of the playoffs, henne will likely start the last few games of the season. This will knock some of pennington's stats down and he will be left out of the pro bowl. In my opinion, his only chance is for us to stay competitive all season.

Never going to happen, Henne lovers get over it please.

Who's the last qb we've had this discussion about??????? Nice.
Honestly? Jay was having a heck of a year the year he broke his thumb during the denver game, then ray lucus took over... and erm... ugh.

its been a while to say the least.

I don't see why he couldn't. He's had pretty decent stats that he's been putting up all year long. As long as he keeps it up, I could see him out in Honolulu.

Fiedler would have in 02 had he not broken his thumb..I also think we'd have made it deep into the playoffs, possibly Super Bowl if he doesn't get hurt in Denver.

Of course, Gadsden getting hurt didn't help matters either.
