Yes, under the new rules he could be placed on the PS. however I would say it's unlikely to happen. He will be on a 53 man roster in a few days.

I think he goes on a 53 someplace. If not, it makes more sense for him to go on a practice squad somewhere else where they have a plan to develop him. I wish him well.

I don't think his ego will allow him to be on a practice squad. Remember, there were 9 mistakes made before Arizona drafted him. He will make those teams feel his pain by not holding a clipboard with their logo on it. I bet he's herding turtles right about now.
