How about a young, motivated, high energy, players coach who has a brain. That would be a good start

I wouldn't be totally pissed about Miles but would rather have Chris Petersen from Boise State if we insist on hiring a college coach. Petersen takes less talent and wins consistently although their schedule is rather bland. Nonetheless, his motivation, gameplanning, and play calling are second to none. As much as it kills me (screw OK and UF), I wouldn't mind having Bob Stoops either. However, if the Fins hire a current college coach, they absolutely must spare no expense in pairing them with top notch coordinators and a genius GM. It is absolute suicide to let a new HC handle coordinator or GM responsibilities.

As much as i dislike Sparano, Im not even sure about that. He might even be a downgrade.
I agree that it was a failure but not because he wasn't capable of coaching...he wasn't capable of being an effective HC and GM. Saban was not a bad game-day coach but his ego and control issues as well as his horrible lack of integrity destroyed him at the pro level.

We dont need a coach here that routinely screws up games with poor clock management and horrible decisions. Playoffs are one and done and in the NFL games often come down to clock management. Having him coaching would be a disaster
