Figuring it might take 10-6 to get in, someone give me a legit roster of the best of the players from the Dolphins, Jaguars and Buccaneers as I'm not as up on those other teams. For starters:

The Dolphins will contribute Cam Wake, Branden Albert, Mike Pouncey, Mike Wallace, Knowshon Moreno and Brent Grimes.........help me out here.......how many of our other players beat out the Jags and Bucs best players?

The QB roster, if you asked me would be 1. Blake Bortles, 2. Mike Glennon and 3. Josh McCown (seriously!)

Could be a fun exercise in futility to come up with the best 53, realizing that you have to account for all positions. And at the end of it, you might realize you might not have enough still to get to the post season, regardless of which division you put this newly built team in.

State's been a joke for too long now. Wonder if/when it'll ever turn around?

No.

It's shocking really, low crowds too, LA beckoning for one of them I think.

The thing they all have in common? No QB. So I don't care how we patch the teams together. Without a good QB they're a longshot for the playoffs. We'll see how Bortles plays out, but for now that's an unknown.

I think if Bortles was our starting QB, we could have won today

No and I will tell you that there is No real Pro caliber QB in Fla right now (including Winston) ...You need a QB at least as capable as Big Ben and none of the 3 have one.

Maybe if they started Bortles or Moore.

That might be the only 2 QBs worth a damn on all 3 rosters.

I only watch a very small part of the Jags game, but Bortles definitely brought some excitement and energy to the game, after they were 30 plus points behind with 0 on the board at half time. There's a QB there they can build around, need much more talent though around him and better coaching.

No, but they would have one hell of a defensive line!

Could they make a playoff team? Sure they could, based on the defense alone.

Denver would still shred them.

I'd take Bortles just for the sake of optimism and the unknown. At least the Jags have a little something to look forward to watching.

Bottles throwing to Wallace and Jackson with Clay as TE and Moreno and Doug Martin. Putting together a line should be no probes between the three. Our dline is good enough. How are the lb's of the other teams?
