could there be good news with arrington looming...

I think it's between the Dolphins,Jags and Bengals if Brown goes to the Giants.

if we dont get harrington, we should definitely spend the money on arrington, which would alleviate our weakness at OLB ... which would put our 1st round pick options on either a WR, DB, or OL (IMO, prolly not gonna take that in the first round)

well, i dont know for sure, but i didnt hear any reports about Cincy offering a contract, so as of now i wouldnt consider them a major player. even if they had a meeting if no contract was offered, they would need another meeting to get that worked out and that hasnt happened (not to say it wont happen, but either way there needs to be another step to consider the Bengals contenders), now, it seems to me that LaVar wanted nothing to do with Jacksonville because even though they met, offered him a contract, and he expressed in no uncertain terms that he wanted to play in florida, so i think something went wrong there, since it was down to us and them for a while. SO that leaves us pretty much. now, we have a similar situation to Jacksonville except that for some reason it seems that Arrington really would like to play here, i dont know what contract has been offered but it obviously isnt what he is looking for, so it should be interesting to see how this plays out, i think that Jax and Miami have the edge over the Giants, but i dont know who has the edge between us and Jax.

there better be. something tells me a deal is near. I say latest Tuesday. Then we get Harrington ince i think someone posted taht lions are willing to go with a pick that isn't a 7th and we were offering next years 6th. So tahts Arrington, Harrington, and RW back. YOWZERS! now we can do as we please during the draft. I say OT, C/RG, S, WR, CB are our needs now.

The bengals already supposivley offered this years 6th to detroit and they said no. They want a 4-5th rounder this year. Harrington might be a stretch at this point. Sorry guys. Still hope we get arrington, dont care too much for harrington personally.

Maybe they are just going for depth and signing Brown doesn't really mean anything in terms of them signing Arrington for the right price.

I hope Arrington over prices himself and he gets stuck with a much lower offer than he was hoping for. What makes him so special that he thinks he's worth soo much? I haven't been that impressed with his play.

every weekend their's news about arrington doin somthin but he never does. i'm tired of it.

Chad Brown is an alternate situation. He hasnt signed yet, and as far as we know it might be a negotiation ploy, not a serious alternate.

Then you havent watched him all that much. He's one of the most talented linebackers in the league, regardless of any problems or contract situations.
