We all know by now that Miami has traded for Tony Mcdaniels, who I think will be a DE in Miami. This could clearly Mean Miami will continue to develope Randy Starks at DT and will probably add a DT via the Draft. Miami has also been linked to DT Ron Brace and it is no secret Miami will eventually need to replace Ferguson. Paul Soliai was a player who was suspended twice last year and was not drafted by the regime. Do you think Miami gets rid of Paul Soliai?

Here is my take, I personally feel since the Trifecta has been here they have been slowly getting rid of the Draft Class Cam and Mueller had. Slowly guys like Lorenzo Booker, Drew Mormino, Kelvin Smith, Abraham Wright and Reagan Mauia have been cut. The other two guys The Trifecta clearly does not like are John Beck and Samson Satele, both could be moved before the draft or season. Paul Soliai did not help himself last year and I think it is a safe bet that if Miami finds a DT in the draft the kid is gone.

I give you guys a small tidbit and some might call me crazy or critique me, but I dont care Miami could replace Brandon Fields as well they have been linked to Kevin Huber the kid is a punter from Cincy.

What a sorry draft Mueller and Cam had.

No I just think those guys who have already been cut aren't good. Satele isn't going anywhere.

No Offense Captain Lou, but Satele has been already replaced by Jake Grove who signed a hefty contract and is 6-4 and over 300 pounds. I know you will say we will move him to G, but Miami signed swing G/C Joe Berger who is 6-5 315 pounds. Miami also has C/G Andy Alleman at 6-4 310 and Ike Ndukwe who performed nicely last year for Thomas and Ndukwe is 6-4 325. I dont know if you get my point by now all of Miami lineman are big boys and Satele who is a lean and Athletic undersize Center does not fit the mold. Plus Miami has Thomas, Smiley and Murphy who they probably like more then last year weak link Satele. They have also been linked to Louis Vasquez G Texas Tech and are position themselves to draft a G/T prospect like Herman Johnson or Phil Loadholt so explain to me where does Satele fit.

I dont think the dolphins will get rid of satele but rather demote him to Depth to play Center or Guard, which is always a good thing to have a player like that. So will he start at center?? NO. will he start at guard??prob not.

Unfortunatly for Mr. Beck there isnt anything he can do to help but collect dust and speak the word of morman.

When you say "have been linked to draft prospect A, B and C", what exactly are you referring to? Because if you're referring to visits, I have two points. One, most teams meet with every player (or close to it). Two, sometimes teams meet with players that they know they have no interest in just so that people around the league think that they do have interest in this player/position. I dont think we're going to be drafting an interior lineman high in the draft (Herman Johnson) nor do I think we are going to waste a draft pick replacing Fields.

Anyone know how much samson makes? Is his cap number decent enough we can keep him for a backup role?

Dan Carpenter was an UDFA and Miami would probably sign an UDFA Punter to compete with Fields.

I know Satele has a fan base on this site, but he was clearly a weak link last year and the organization have be rumored to not like him since last year before the draft. It is a miracle he started all last year. During TC Miami experienced with several players at C, but obviously was the best they had, they even signed Al Johnson and picked Alleman of waivers. They signed Grove to a hefty contract and Satele has been replaced also if you do some research on the type of size, weight and strenghts this team likes from Olineman you will see Satele does not fit

I sincerely doubt with how straight forward this organization has been that they would waste valuable time and money bringning in guys for visits they are not thinking about drafting. Miami wants an interior lineman again in this year draft and I posted an article here yesterday on how Sparano our coach does not feel the line is complete. Miami is looking fro players who can play G/T and I totally understand because Carey and Long have absolutely no backups. Murphy is still a project and Alleman might be moved to C or released.

I certainly understand that Satele's size is less than what the current regime seems to favor, but I think it will be a mistake if they let him go, especially if they recieve little to no compensation for him. I live on the West Coast and so I don't get to see Dolphins games as often as I would like, but Satele seemed pretty good his rookie year and I am under the impression that he played with an injury all last year, please correct me if I am wrong about the injury.

Miami had a good year in an offense the fit him, where Guards are expected to pull. In this offense the Oline mauls on Dline and Miami wants a huge line to take on the NFL small defenses. He we bad last year and struggled against Wilfork, Jenkins and Stroud. Got Killed against NGATA.

Right now; Paul Soliai is of more value than any NT prospect in this draft.

With his proverbial, two year apprenticeship, under his belt and his ideal size and athleticism, only,"I can't make my grades" BJ Raji, may be a better choice than Soliai.

I'm not saying they won't trade Soliai, but to say he is worthless and they are going to cut him is absurd.

Soliai wasn't a bad pick in the 4th round but Joe Cohen may be good enough to convince the FO to trade Soliai who has been suspended twice.

Soliai looked pretty good at the end of last year.

Soliai is on a very short leash in Miami and Starks is Ferguson backup. If Miami pickups a DT which is a need say buh bye to Soliai.
