We all know that Rex Ryan is brash and ****y. He's got a big mouth and I think it will ultimately alienate him from his players. The fourth quarter had 5 lead changes, and both defenses gave up big plays. The difference is this, yes we won the game but you don't hear Sparano spouting off to the media that we almost lost the game because our defense sucked last night. It's one thing to do it in private, but to go on national tv and call out your defense and say that they caved in and it's something you've never experienced before? Do you all feel that this will eventually cause resentment toward the coach if he has one or more outbreaks like this after games? I fear that Braylon Edwards might just haul off and punch Ryan in his turkey chin

We can only hope, because that's exactly the way I felt while watching his press conference last night.

Hardly.

I think his players love him, especially since the franchise needed a drastic change in culture. They just got beat by a better team last night, that's all. Much like Calvin Pace called Chad Henne a "clown quarterback," I think he was just letting off steam. Too bad Calvin couldn't blow off steam in a better fashion, like when Kris Jenkins said, "We just got a big dose of 'shut up.'"

Oh, one more thing: if Rex think he's never been involved in such a defensive embarrassment like this before, I guess he doesn't remember when the Giants ran for over 200 yards against the Ravens last year.

I agree. With players like Pace who evidently speaks before he thinks, and a coach who is already calling out his players.....that's a recipe for disaster...gotta love it!

Let's see how much they love him when he continuously calls them out as an embarrasment.

Hopefully, he'll call them out again after the rematch.

A sweep of the Jets? That would be sweet!!
