Of course, don't know what the price was, and hes likely on the free agent market next year but...
Nonetheless, some tidbits from Len P's new article...
Shaun Alexander scored three times for Seattle, but few people know that the Seahawks were kind of dangling him around the league this summer. They definitely called the Dolphins. There are some people in the organization who feel that Alexander, in the final year of his contract, isn't nearly as good as the leaguewide perception of him.
The Cowboys offered tailback Eddie George to Miami before the Dolphins traded for Lamar Gordon of St. Louis
"I know that Chicago lost on Sunday, but a guy who is really starting to do some good things is (former first-round) wide receiver (David) Terrell. I didn't think he'd be very good in the offense that (coordinator) Terry Shea put in, but he's opening my eyes. They tried to throw him into the trade for (defensive end Adewale) Ogunleye, but the Dolphins kind of insisted on getting Marty Booker."
