Could Zach Wiegert help ?

12:49 PT: Bart Hubbuch, of the Florida Times-Union, reports for the Sporting News the Jacksonville Jaguars disgruntled OL Zach Wiegert may be expendable, especially after the recent signings of three veteran offensive lineman. Wiegert's decision to skip minicamp did not go over well with head coach Tom Coughlin or the rest of the team's management.

Cant imagine Coughlin is serious

Zach was expected to start at LT until the rookie from Florida could start. The whole O line is expected to be made of people who didnt start last season in the same position (except the RT Williams??)

I cant believe that Coughlin would really consider cutting him. Zach is a toughguy player and earned the nickname Buddy Lee for being a scrappy guy.

If he gets cut (which is a longshot) we should definately snag him... even if just to push Wade at LT.... maybe even take the starting spot from him...

Its pretty standard to name the side by which side he's on if you're facing the defense.

I'd like to see Wiegert signed only if Brent Smith continues to suck with pads on and only if Wiegert can play tackle.

I'd like to keep Mark Dixon at the position he's a pro bowler at, however if we can't get legitimate LT help soon, which includes just Brent Smith shaking off the rust and playing like we know he can, then I'm all about moving Dixon to LT. Gotta have your best linemen on the field at all times, and ya gotta have your best lineman protecting the QBs blindside.

Why do you think brent smith sucks??? If he sucks why was it suck a blow last year to lose him??
