The first possession Ricky and Ronnie ran 9 times and the Chargers couldn't stop them. The entire 2nd half they only gave the ball to them 12 times when we threw a rookie QB into the game. What? Why? Who's calling that? We had the 3rd most rushing yards in the entire NFL and you only give them the ball 12 times in the 2nd half when we were leading at one point? Oh and look what happened when they finally gave it to Ricky when it was too late - Our only touchdown of the game! Surprise surprise

"Dudes looked fierce this afternoon. We need to get them a two-gap nose tackle.
Some other thoughts I had going through my head during the game:
- We will never get to a super bowl with Channing Crowder playing ILB. We need to address that position sometime this season or in the draft (this means you, Brandon Spikes). More specifically, we need a leader on defense.
- I am ready for Chris Clemons. The lack of speed we have at the safety position led to us getting torched by Vincent Jackson on that long bomb.
- What the hell happened to Anthony Fasano? Did those fumbles in ATL rattle his cage? He looks nothing like how he did this time last year.
We have to remember that this is year two of the rebuilding process. It’s kind of like a sequel to any movie: high expectations going in, but utterly disappointing and unsatisfying early on, so you keep holding out hope that things are going to turn around just in time to salvage the whole production. I was prepared for this little nose dive, and I hold out hope that year three is when this team is really going to take it’s place as one of the best teams in the league."
