So it is now 78 days to the new NFL season and we are all suffering withdrawl. .

So to pass the time. . .

I propose we post a Miami player (or other NFL hero) with a small write up whose jersey number matches the number of days left. .

to begin:

Richmond J Webb #78 OT picked 9th overall in the 1990 draft and played 11 seasons with us before heading off to the Bengals.
He set records of 7 back to back Pro bowls and 118 starts.
Injuries was the reason for the decline of his career and after 2 years with the Bengals signed a 1 day contract with the Fins in July '05 to end his NFL dream where it began.

I like this idea :chuckle: Helps with this possibly most boring offseason I've gone through get a little better. We should just stick with Miami players though, if you want to keep the thread in this section

Tomorrow's a gimmee: either AJ Duhe or Jake Long.

The day after, that's a challenge. Tom Toth, anyone?

Yeah, that's a tough one. Somebody should try to find a photo of DT Don Reese. He played with the Dolphins from 1974-76 and started 20 games.
