Cowboys game blacked out, more blackouts coming

I'll support my Team by purchasing Dolphins gear.

Not a big fan of going to games, I have ADD and find myself looking at women's boobs and such .

Not to mention it's too damn hot, too damn expensive, and I live too damn far.

Makes no sense unless, they are just as a shot across the bow, showing what could happen the regular season if tickets don't start selling.

Because there is no way they have really sold out PS the last few years, they just lifted the blackout. Is anyone really going to believe that more people bought tics to see Carolina than Dallas this PS?

Just another bad PR move too. If Steven Ross thinks the fans hate him now, just start blacking out RS games...

Boring draft
Boring free agency
Boring starting QB with with an even more boring backup
Boring and bad head coach
Boring OC hire
Back to back 7-9 seasons
Boring 1-7 at home

Is not a recipe for selling a lot of tickets

This League mandated blackout is such a joke in a bad economy. People SHOULDN'T be blowing their money on a mediocre football team when they are struggling to keep their homes. The problem is, teams all over the country need to start getting blacked out in order for the league to make a change. A cross-walk doesn't get put in until someone gets trucked by a bus.

We (people in Columbus) get these threats and stuff all the time about the Columbus Blue Jackets. Buy tickets or we're relocating blah blah. Plain and simple you want fans in seats but a better team out that's WINNING.

Question: If I live in Ohio, is it possible for fins games to be affected on Sunday Ticket? Also, what about the preseason game on the NFL.com streaming program?

Only games in Ohio that are affected on Sunday Ticket by blackouts are the Bengals and Browns. Not sure about the streaming.

Preseason games this yr should be free considering they robbed the fans of a real FA and the most exciting offseason in all the major sports.....they could of hit a PR bonaza by showing the fans they care about us.....instead they rush back in time to make sure they make there millions on preseason games and now there crying because no one wants to go......screw em....

Go Bucks!!!! I am originally from Columbus.

Overall it would be good if a lot of teams started to experience blackouts, it would suck short term, long term it could result in lower ticket, food and beverage costs. Take it a step further look at how much the cost of a jersey ($100 ), polo shirt (60-80) or t-shirt ($30)has gone up. They wonder why people were ticked off about them fighting over 9 billion dollars. This is the first year in a while that i have not picked up a new shirt or some sort...

I get the games in Colorado so it's all good.

Figures

I give my preseason tickets away because I prefer watching the preseason games on TV with the TiVo so I can replay whatever play I want to get a better idea of what worked and what didn't (who missed a block etc.) and to better see those guys that are on the bubble. Now after giving the game away I have to watch it on replay?

No good deed goes unpunished.

lol at blackin out preseason games.

Why they blackout preseason games is beyond me.

Why they blackout any game is beyond me.

Create something people want to see. make it AFFORDABLE for FAMILIES (considering they equate it to family entertainment)

And perhaps they wouldn't ever need "blackouts." No other sports THREATEN fans with blackouts.

It's pretty basic.. field quality that wins = stadiums full.
