Cowboys interest in Bell a sign of things to come?

The Cowboys are reportedly bringing in Tatum Bell for a look. I know he's a completely different type of back, but I could see this being an indication that their backfield might be a bit crowded. Some of the moves that we made today cause me to believe that the Dolphins might be planning on trading down in the first round. The Cowboys trade, possibly including Barber, I think is still a viable option.

I think ur lookin too deep into this.. their backfield isnt crowded... they have barber, thats it.. so signing bell isnt so mysterious.. but ya i hope they go after Mcfadden

how exactly does bringing in a RB show their RB group is over crowded??? all they have is barber.

after that, their bringing in Bell for a look to be a back up to Barber.

You really think we would bring in Tatum and them trade Barber? Come on man think some of these things through, Barber is not going anywhere this year at all, we keep trying to get that through to guys, he's tendered and no one is giving up that tender for him...If we brought in Tatum it be to spell Barber, we certainly wouldnt rely on him, and he is the exact opposite of what we would need if we brought in mcfadden, two speed backs? No thanks, if Bell is brought in that assures he will be the guy to spell Barber, I wouldnt call us overcrowded at rb, we currently have ONE guy, Barber, just one, we are far from overcrowded..Tyson Thompson and Julius Jones are both gone.
