He called the plays for Dallas for one year, before Garrett took over as OC I believe.

Sparano called the plays in 2006 for Dallas before Garrett took over the reigns the next season.

In 2006, Dallas ranked 5th in yards per game (360.8), 4th in points per game (26.6), 2nd in 3rd down percentage (49), and had the 5th most passing yards per game that year.

Maybe they can make Sparano in charge of the 2 min offense, time outs, and waving players off the field.
 
funny, my thread about Sparano gets moved to general NFL and this one stays....hey mods, whats that about?? huh JCane? I thought you said nomore Sparano in the main forum?

Are you suggesting he drew up the offensive game plan each week and then called the plays from the owner's box while Sparano stood on the sideline holding the clipboard?
 
Sparano might be fine as an OC but clearly he was just not HC material, it happens. Alot of guys are better off suited as position coaches or coordinators.
 
Lol @ the Jets if that happens, but I can really see him headed back to Dallas. I mean why wouldnt he.

Yours was probably on top of the forum when it got moved. We volunteer our time here, so we work stuff when we can. Sometimes we don't have time to go through every single post and every single thread.
 
Do the Jets need a Fistpump coordinator to celebrate fgs? Sparano and Rex-nice couple
