Ok, take this with a grain of salt, but I did find it interesting. My boss is a huge cowboys fan. On the cowboys board they are all pissed off at the moment because someone posted that accoring to nfl sat. radio the boys and phins have a trade agreement in place if the player the boys want is there with our 2a we willtrade it to them for their 2nd rounder and their 3rd. According to the draft chart they get hosed. Like I said, it's just rumor but I thought it was interesting.

You never know what Jerry Jones will do. He's just as insane and stubborn as Al Davis, only less decrepit.

i wonder who they are targeting

but i dont see how something like this would get leaked... another team ahead of miami finds this out (if its true) and they will offer the same trade and c-boys will get a higher pick

There are always a lot of draft day trade rumors flying around this time of year. Someone else posted they heard a rumor that we have a trade in place with the Eagles to move from the 25th pick up to the 21st pick. Its all speculation at this point.

Referring to comments such as this......?

this better be some BS...to move up from 51 to 44 should cost dallas a 4th round pick...not a 3rd...dallas better not do this...i am tired of being shafted by miami...if anything they owe us a better deal since they took ireland and half our coaching staff

I would do that in a heart beat. :hi5:

I seriously doubt the rumor if it insists Dallas would give us the #69 pick in the draft to move from #51 to #44.

As things stand, giving us the #101 pick (their 4th rounder) would be a 26 point premium on the trade chart if they were to move from #51 to #44.

Possibilities:

1. They could give us #51, #69 and #101 for pick #25. That would be an 11 point premium in our favor.

2. They could give us #51 and #101 for pick #44. That would be a 26 point premium in our favor.

3. They could give us #69 and a future 2nd rounder for #44. That would value Dallas' 2010 2nd Rounder at just under 200 points, which would work out in our favor as the Cowboys could be on the downfall and the 2010 NFL Draft should be a doozy. The pick could be worth more than twice that 200 points.

Some things to keep in mind:

*Dallas doesn't pick until #51 and this will no doubt make Jerry Jones antsy. So, a trade is definitely possible.

*Dallas holds the #69 pick which is one of the top 5 picks of Day 2 of the draft. The pick is probably considered more valuable than its normal trade chart value, because of this.

I would think they would want to get into the first, they have too many picks and not enough roster room, they need an impact player.

Heck I would give the #25 for #51, #69 (top of round 3), #101 (top of round 4). That leaves them with the round 1 for drama and a 4th, 3 5th rounders, 2 6th rounders and 2 7th for depth.

Lucky for you, your boss is a retard and you should have his job in no time.

Oh pleeeeease let this be true!!! Pleeeeease!!!!

Well the Cowboys just lost their best wide receiver and one of their only deep threat wide receivers (T.O.). Maybe they are focusing on a guy like Kenny Britt, who could still be around with the 44th pick that we own. I would be more than happy with trading down a few spots and picking up a 3rd rounder from them.

That's the same guy I was thinking of
I think Jerbo wants him and is concerned the Giants do too. Jump to #44, one pick before the G-men

Ill take it with a grain....Last year, the boys, according to some, were a lock to take McFadden with our 1st, trading with us (including M.Barber in some trade scenarios)...Jerry Jones (AKA Ren, from Ren and Stimpy) wetting his diapers at the combine with his 40 times...

True, it's good to know that Parcells & Ireland will always have a willing partner over at Dallas.

Al Davis has forgotten more about football than Jones with his gargantuan ego has ever even dreamed about knowing.

He can't bluff the Tuna & win...
