Coyle: Last play should never been allowed

So, let me gat this straight- he's saying the officials missed some obvious Steeler penalties???? Shocking...

Put yourself in a position where the refs dont control the game and then you dont have to worry about it.

Hey Coyle, tell the D to play to the end, give maximum effort and make the damn tackle!

He's right. I noticed it on the snap and commented on it after the game. They weren't set.

It also happened at the end of the half in the Carolina game...and um yes all the players on both sides were "set" it was just a brain lock..from the coaching staff.

I'm sick of this argument. That may have been true 5-10 years ago when there wasn't so much parity in the league. But in today's game, teams are SO evenly matched talent-wise that games more tightly contested. And in tight games its almost impossible for some calls NOT to affect the outcome. The officials need to get it right.

Everybody on game day on the field are ****ing PROFESSIONALS. They should conduct themselves accordingly.

Im happy a coach isn't being PC or a jackass. Just told it like it is.

Best quotes from that article:

1. Philbin: “I never met a receiver who didn’t have both feet down,” lol.

2. Tannehill: Snow and cold = "No problem." Quote: Sherman said he and Tannehill met Saturday night and “I said I just came from outside –-- it’s pretty cold out. He said: ‘It’s not going to be a problem for me.’” Sherman then told him there could be rain and snow. To that, Tannehill said: “It won’t be a problem. Don’t worry about it.’”

Gotta love a QB who says, "It won't be a problem for me," and just shrugs off cold and snow and adversity.

it was a problem...not just for the qb but the offense...sherman in the first half tried to run the same o in a deluge he runs when its indoors...best thing that could happen for miami was the clearing up at the half...still sherman has made a couple nice adjustments to more shotgun on 3rd and 1 and shorts knowing he can't just line up and run the ball vs stacked fronts...

but all those deep qb in the deluge sets for shotgun snaps had me saying you got to reign this one in and play it more close to the vest and work off pa and use the backs in the passing game like the steelers did...

no doubt in my mind had that weather continued we lose yesterday...timing based o and you got to get away from a lot of that with the footing etc that was out there in the first half...i was very worried about a deep comeback outside the #'s or whatever and the wr falling down for an easy pick

Damn it hoops...

This is why we can't have nice things.
