Wide Reciever David Boston, I doubt he will EVER be right again, I hope Im wrong but its sorta looking like similar cases as far as injuries never fully healing, If 100% I think he would be the answer but it doesnt always work out that way IE Boston.

I agree, I think we need to cut our losses, and sign a qb now while one is available and draft one in say the second round for the future if at all possible. Id hate to waste another season on hoping he is going to come back healthy, and actually play well at the same time... but at the same time id like to keep culpepper around... but... if we can get someone that can perform and win us games ASAP... im all for cutting him. after all, its all about what we can do now... you take what you can get, when you can get it.

Well Pep and Boston were both once All Pro players, Green you still never knew.

But its the wait and see approach to the same injury, and I like the fact that caMUeller arent going to wait around and see, they going with plan B, where as Jimmy Johnson didnt have a plan B for Yatil, instead he passed on quality free agent or rookie WRs in the draft while waiting on Yatil to recover from his injury in which he never did, and instead reinjured it.

This is very true. Since I say the title in the forum, I somehow knew you were going to talk about Boston.
I hope Cpep bounces back, but I doubt it.
Too bad!!!

You could blame Saban for bringing CP back too fast and you could blame Jimmy Johnson for bringing YG back too fast, but lets remember, if the player gets the okay from the doctor, its not the coaches fault for pushing him.

Boston taking roids attributed to his inability to heal. You get rapid muscle growth with steroids but you ligaments and tendons break down. Not saying they were the cause but they didn't help.

As far as we know, Pep doesn't take them and that should help. Even still... he may never be a hundred percent. If Pep wants to stay in this league, he might have to change his game.

Yatil... just really, really, bad luck.

Steriods are inceredible for recovery EVEN with tendons, If taken in excess it can detroy your tendons while on it(ecspecially if you have a body builders top half and sprinters legs)

Actually IF he wouldve taken steriods he may have recovered faster, he didnt injure himself until he dropped all the wieght...steriods contributed to his injury yes but had NOTHING to do with the recovery failure.

I liked Boston I wish he wouldve been 100% because he was a freak! I also hope Pep gets back right but its looking grim.

I am hoping it's like when Randall Cunningham came to the Vikes and sucked it up the first year then threw for 30+ TDs the next season.

I never knew Dolphins fans to be so uninformed. Are you guys kidding me? How could you say that about Culpepper? He had the same injury as Willis McGahee, and McGahee is a running back. Well McGahee came back, and you know why? Because these types of injuries heal...but it takes time.
We have only given Culpepper one year! It's idiotic to say he reminds you of David Boston already, when he hasn't even been healed of his injury. Boston actually came back and played for several years and had nagging injuries. Shouldn't we at least wait for Culpepper to actually be healed from his primary injury?
Needless to say, I think it's a huge mistake bringing in Trent Green (unless he's getting backup money). We have to give Culpepper the chance to return to the QB he once was, because he hasn't been given that chance yet. So stop calling for Quinn, Carr, Green, or whoever. Give Culpepper a chance first.

well some people's bodies handle injuries differently, culpepper's knee could recover stronger then it was before, or there could be a weakness from the injury, only time will tell and as you can tell, people around here don't have time
