how can a guy with 90+ qb rating pretty much throughout his career, completion % in the 60s , good TD/INT ratio just fade away... ive always kinda felt gettin cpep was a bad idea but after really lookin at his stats throughout his career, im hopin this guy comes back to some kinda form next year ... hes our only chance at doin something... fix the secondary and oline in draft/free agency and our only other problem is QB, hopefully cpep comin back to form will fix that problem

ya my bad, came out bad , rewrote it with words instead of stats

ya like having the highest comp % in the WAC!

He didn't fade away, he never was. Only one winning season in his career, and that was his first season starting QB. That's a never was to me.

Yeah he was waaay over hyped. People are so in love with his stats but stats don't win games.

The truth is the dolphins have picked up a lot of used trash QB's over the years. Why can't they just draft a young guy like Jason Campbell in washington or Tavaris(sp?) Jackson in Minny? Those guys were not at the top of the draft and they look like they can play well at QB.

Or the obvious name now ROMO

If we put a decent OL in front of him, give him a running game, and he gets back in his 2004 Pro Bowl form, Daunte has the tools, skills and talent to take us to the SB and win it. I firmly believe in him, we're tied to him at the hip and I am certain we'll be very glad of it. JMHO.

What the hell are you talking about one winning season? That just goes to show how bad his team was.
They could only get to 8-8 in 2004 when he threw 39 Tds, 11 ints and completed 69% of his passes. How is it possible to go only 8-8 with a QB performance like that? Easy, his team sucked. Got a reply to that one?

Ok qb's are nothing without theyr're wr's and thats a given fact.

Thing is in his 39 td season moss only had 13 and threw i believe 2 4-5 td games without moss.

Peyton struggles at time with marvin n wayne, now if manning had burleson, williamson and wiggins man i dont know what to say.

Palmer is a good qb but i dont think he's great yet, man he has TJ and chad are you kidding me and he's up and down passing this year.

Drew brees LoL why do some of yll still want him , he has played horrible in
3-4 games this year with 2-3 picks and he has joe horn, colston, reggie bush.
Now brees will really struggle without good receivers, look what he did when he got Antonio gates.

Bulger is an alright QB and has holt n bruce.

Eli manning is horrible omg he plays so bad with plaxico without him he might honestly be one of the worst passers in the NFL.

Chad pennington is 15 td 16 int with coles, and coles is a stud.

Tom brady is real good qb but hey he plays in an offense he doesnt need playmakers that much, even though he does, watson has helped him alot , caldwell gets open and brady will deifinitely put it perfect spot most of the time, but ne receivers aint freak of nature but get open, and they catch it.

Losman without evans LoL,wow kid will get murked.

Qb are nothing without receivers they make they're life easier, a thing a qb wants is for you to get open and he will deliver thats it, you dont need to be a freak like moss and burn all the time im pretty sure any qb can have success with any wr that get open and can catch the ball, well that is the main job of a wideout anyway get open.

Now vince young and vick make plays with their feet, and vick loks liek a nobody when getting run contained at times, young has the arm and makes play wit hhis feet and he's passed pretty well.

WR/TE fall in the same category they both wideouts.

So please any qb you rip off a good wr from, theyre not gonna be successful.

he played 4 games. he got better each game. i would trust him more than harrington even if C-pep was playing with 1 arm. honestly.

Simple--because his knee wasn't doing as well as he advertised (and it's hard to blame a player who is itching to play and prove people wrong for possibly subconsciously believing it).

They showed the way he used to step into throws and how he did after the injury, and it was noticeable different.

That said, he looked good at the end of the Texans game.
