i just found out, Culpepper started his career with the viks as #12. does anyone no when he changed to #11

maybe the other qb was 11? and when he left, pep got 11 possibly thats my only idea
 
it must have knock the 2 rite of his jersey, and they accidently sewed a 1 on there instead

no ur rite fiedler was #11 with them and thats where he started the 99 season, with minny
 
There was a qb (Maybe Bauman?) on the Vikes that had his college #8 and wouldn't give it up so DC went w/ #12. Actually have some friends w/ that #12 jersey
 
I'm not sure about this but Frerrotte has always worn #11 and he was Daunte's backup for a little while.

Does any one think it would be cool to just have numbers on the jerseys without the names?(i know its not relevant,but just curious)
 
not rlly, it would kind of suck because , say u got a will allen jersey, some people mite think ur crazy and have a howard jersey
 
Culpepper wanted #8 his 1st year. Jeff George was the starter and Todd Bouman was the backup. Bouman had #8 and wouldn't give it up. Culpepper took #12 for his rookie year. The second year - when he was named the started after Marino decided not to play there - he changed to 11 because he was the 11th pick in the draft.

Frerrotte wore #12 as Daunte's backup.
