Crap Should i take this deal or not

My Jet friend is betting Manning doesn't become a Fin. If he's wrong and manning becomes a fin he will wear a dolphins jersey for every game this season. However if i lose and he becomes something else then i would have to wear a Jets jersey for every game this upcoming season.


What do you think? Should i make the deal?
 
With every passing day, I would take that bet that Manning will not be a Fin
 
I dont think its a good bet since he can win if any other team signs manning , the odds are on his side for sure
 
He will not be with us so don't take the deal or you'll lose

Shouldn't it be the opposite? If he's spending time with other teams every passing day suggest to me that he's leaning more towards something else like the fins..no?

It isn't worth it. The consquences of losing outweigh the perks of winning.

Just think, if you lose, you have to put a Jets jersey on. The thought alone is unbearable. :shakeno:
 
Take the bet, Manning is using the Broncos/Cards as leverage for the best deal he can get from Miami. Why do you think our interview is scheduled last. He lives in Miami so it would be just as easy to interview right away, why wait, he was already there? The same way Fisher made his last interview with the Rams (that's where he wanted to go all along, used us for leverage) Manning is doing the same with us. Get your best offer then go to your first choice to negotiate your deal.

BTW WTF did the Denver come out of? i can't believe I'm still phuckin despising a QB who couldn't hold a candle to Marino though an out-of-nowhere RB and stellar D took him to SBs.

I hope you all stop to smell the flowers and do not stop to think how unconscionability unjust this existence is as I do.

Sorry for the "No Thanks", I just wanted to see what the button did. But, it also indicates that I dont think you should take that bet. The risks outweigh the reward. Think about it.. you could be wearing a Jets jersey all season, thats terrible!

I'm with you on this! Things seem to be going our way so far this off-season and i really think it's going to continue. Although here's the catch, Manning coming to the fins may not be part of that good fortune. Similar to when we though we lost out on big deal Fisher then out of nowhere philbin seems so far like the better hire. If for some reason we lose out on Manning i for one will not panic and ultimately will not be surprise if it turns out our other option turns out to be better.

Gents, i really believe the stars have began to aligned for us!

Completely agree. However at the same time how can we as a fan-base constantly criticize the FO for not having big cojones, taking risk, having lack of convection ? And i turn around with my tail-between my legs scared? *****-fied?
