Maybe im being a bit unrealistic, but how sick would it be if we moved sean smith to safety. I know at this point in time its impossible because we dont have alot of depth at the corner position but if we were able to draft a stud corner i think moving smith to safety would be great. Im not saying Smith is playing bad by any means. I think hes been playing great for what hes been expected to do as a rookie but it panned out well in Buffalo with Jairus Byrd. That guy is playing freakish. Remember Byrd was a top 5 prospect at corner but he ran a high 4.6 so they moved him to safety. If everything pans out with smith and he becomes a stud shut down corner im all for that, but if things dont work out at corner for him, i think it would be a good idea to mold him into a safety because i personally think he could be a good one.

I don't think he is enough of a sure tackler... but then again we do have wilson back there so anything is possible.

Yea i def agree. I think puttin on some weight would solve that problem tho because altho he wasnt a hard hitter he was a sure tackler in college. Hes just alot smaller now at the next level.

No. He's our stud CB who was drafted to take on the tall #1 WR's we face in this division (Moss,Edwards,T.O.).

Smith is too dainty for safety. He's rather gentle when he tackles. Remember the Jets game when Keller caught a pass, started to get back up, and Smith touched him down? Except Keller was almost back up before Smith touched him. Right after that the broadcast cut to Smith, and you could tell he was getting an earful from a teammate about making sure the guy is down...you could see Smith saying, "Yeah yeah I know I know."

vontae could play safety if he had to. smith couldn't. they're both fine where they're at.

NO. We finally have a solid young corner. Lets keep him there and fix the real problem in Gibril Wilson.

I'd prefer him turning into a shutdown corner and back-breaking interception drive-killer if I had my druthers.

Based on what? Jesus christ. Where do these guys come from?

Move him to safety in Madden if it makes you happy. I dont give a ****.

What gives you such an idea? He's been a corner the whole season. We drafted him as a corner out of college. What do you mean if it dosent pan out?

Why is this a discussion at the midway point of a season in which the dude has stepped in and started every game as a rookie corner? He came in and beat out a dude we drafted in round 1 at corner.

Chad Henne has a great understanding of the offense and has decent size. I think we should move him to TE. Let him take the rest of the year off to prepare and then we would have our TE position taken care of. Yes or no??

And Ronnie played some QB in HS and since there will be an opening at QB with the Henne move we should give Ronnie a chance at QB. He already has experience in the wildcat so I think he could do it. What ya think, yes or no??

We already ruined a high draft pick because we couldn't decide if he was a safety or cornerback. No thanks.
