crazy things you have done.....

I'm a woman and I wouldn't want to be with any man whose answer to that question would be me! Dolphins first, all else is second.

No offense to you, but it isn't the answer that I have a problem with. It's the question. If a person who says they understand you, wants to challenge you on one of the things you hold most important in your life, then obviously that person doesn't respect you.
Think of it like a your partner saying it's either me or your family. Even if you care about your partner more, it's the audacity of the question that ends the relationship.

I know someone will dig it up, but there was a thread like this last season (or maybe early this off-season). Some of the things in there were just amazing.

I actually lost three different girlfriends because of my obsession with the Dolphins. And the irony was, I met one of them at a Miami Dolphins sports bar while I was there to watch a game.
I always say the worst thing a women can ask a man is "What's more important me, or that damned game?"

Why do they ask stupid questions like that!?!?! They are just looking to start soemthing, not like football season is year round!

You remember the guy who threw his inlaw's 50th aniversery cake out on the lawn and told his wife to go to the party her F'in self???
Lost his marriage.
WINNER!!!! :goof:

Aw shucks, guys. I do have a wonderful boyfriend who, sadly, isn't much of a football fan. He took 3 days of vacation to accompany me to Canton, though, and for that I am eternally grateful. How knows how much I love my Dolphins and knows better than to ask the "me or them" question. I do agree with AmazonJack, too. Even more important than the answer to the question would be the reason the question would be asked in the first place. Anyone who would have the need for me to prove how much they meant to me by asking me to give up something I love is not a person I want in my life.

Wait a minute (she says, shaking her head)..... this isn't the Dear Abby column?

I told my fiance' (the about 30 minutes after I met her) "I am a Dolphins fan. I will watch the Dolphins every Sunday. I'll give you my 100% the rest of the time, but not when my Dolphins are playing. If that's a problem, maybe we should end it now." 6 years later we are still together. She's a great woman.

Not exactly a crazy thing, but more than most guys who just met a beautiful woman would do.

Not trying to flirt, but to have a woman who loves the Dolphins (like you do) is every straight male Dolphin fan's dream.

I was usually off on sundays, but i had to work a couple years back when we played the Jets, so i took my portable T.V to work and watched the game, in the fourth quarter i had everyone from my department watching the game with me, i got suspended, but they never scheduled me to work during a Dolphins game again!!!!!!!!

Well, most of us have to be a bit more diplomatic than that.

I feel you. We get along like that sometimes though. I am still with her and she bought me J. Taylor jersey yesterday and asked me who I wanted next.
