Instead of a way to laid back HC, we had a fire breathing one.... What would this team be like? The New England Patriots have THREE rookies on their OL and one was undrafted yet they are playing well.

Would Rex Ryan have let Miami start with the season with this personnel in the offensive line and defensive secondary? If so, he wouldn't have helped, either.

Naaah....didn't want him and wasn't interested at the time.

Unfortunately, I think anyone looks good compared to our current situation. However, I can recall Jets teams quitting on Rex when times got tough (my opinion). I don't think Rex is the answer either, although I guess he looks pretty good to some people because from a personality stand point he is the exact opposite of what we have.

I hate him. Better coach than Philbin though

Our post game pressers would be much more exciting, that's for sure.

Or it could be that he has had success with little to no offensive talent, no QB, and no FO help (an FO actively working against him last season, which backfired on them). He caters to the strengths of his talent, particularly on defense. Players quite clearly love playing for him. It's not even debatable that he's a superior coach.

It's not, and boy was it a popular FH opinion in the offseason.

We would be a better team probably...at least on defense, but don't know if I would want to sell our soul to the devil for a possible championship.

I'd take Belicheat as our HC too.

Don't worry though, this team has no soul.

guys... guys.. cmon. At least there are no gum wrappers on our locker room floors.

Our defense would be remarkably better. It would be a bitch to deal with.

i wanted him here. way better than what we have, and our d would be nasty
