For everything that has gone wrong this season, Saban has been a calming influence throughout it all. Instead of going crazy over the teams' play, he has been steadfast in his approach and really very positive in his message....all this whilst the media has absolutely tee'd off on him as have many fans. I have never seen the media turn on a guy so quickly, and absolutely print garbage. Reading some articles would have you believe this guys has done nothing right in a year and a half. The fact is, he has done a lot right and the team is in great hands.

Look at 2003. Things started going wrong and they snowballed and we got blown out game after game. This year there has been no panic and no tirades. Game after game, amidst a constant wave of pessimism from the media, he has calmly explained what needs to happen to win. The team seemiingly has finally embraced his message and hopefully can ride this momentum through the end of the season. It's most likely too late, but it's definitely nice to see our guys come out and play at the level they did today.

I don't care if we lose the rest of our games, this franchise is in the right hands with Saban. If the media/fans run him off before he can establish what IMO will be a long term success, it will be hard for me to respect the South Florida fans/media.

I'm sure the fire Saban crowd will say it's all a fluke and that Chicago rolled over for them today.

Anyone who watched that game knows that both teams played their ***** off. I havent seen such a hard hitting football game in a long time. It was an amazing game to watch.

You can really see it when you juxtapose Denny Green with Saban.. Denny Green flipped out following the monday night debacle, and the team has been in a tail spin since..

This win, and in particular how they PLAYED, shows me that they are not quite dead yet.. I dont see this team getting blown out by anyone, and that is a credit to Saban

Kudos to Coach Saban and the entire team. The front seven played great and our secondary made plays on the ball (Congrats to Jason Allen and Renaldo Hill for their first INTs as Dolphins).

Ronnie was OUTSTANDING today and I think overall the O-Line did a good job containing a great front four. Joey made some mistakes, but made enough plays for us to win the game.

A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to the Dolphins players and coaches!!! God, it feels great to be a Dolphins fan today!!!!

GREAT COACHING TODAY. They finally got it right, just like I knew they would. Our blitz was finally effective and coming from all angles. So nice to see. Great game plan on offense and defense. Hey guess what? Ronnie got 29 carries!!! Hallelujah.

Agreed, right moves are being made...Shelton to RG..."Bullfrog" Bell to starting S...Dante to streetclothes...Phil Simms calling out Ronnie...Jason Allen making plays...oh yeah...

to be honest i don't believe its a crowd that does'nt like saban,i think its just a handful of people on this board that really have no football intellect,,we should try not to give them more credit by saying there's more than what there really is

What do you mean credit "Saban"?!? I was the one calling the shots up in the booth! :tantrum:

I'm not giving this game to the coaching staff. I'd love to since it would be a lot better for the dolphins if our coaches showed a strong foundation but that's not the case. We were still wildly undisciplined, the playcalling was a disaster and most of Saban's decisions during the game were completely gutless. We won because some of the players stood up and decided to will this team to victory. There was heart that led to seizing opportunities. The intensity JT and Bell played with changed the whole game and the rest of the team fed off of it. Watching those players today made me proud to be a dolfan.

Saban's first words in the press conference should have been: 'We didn't let them off the hook.'
