We knocked it out of the park this offseason on defense.

Tankersly can play and has already made Maxwell irrelevant and inactive.
Godchaux is a fifth round STEAL, and I've even remembered how to spell his name.
Charles Harris is going to be an absolute STUD. He has the look of a future all pro.
Lawrence Timmons is a hard hitting SOB. He's giving Kiko freedom, and from the looks of it, Kiko is elevating his game. He was all over the field today.
Vincent Taylor is providing depth.
Hayes has been solid, if not unspectacular
Chase Allen has NFL experience as a UDFA and will provide depth.

On top of the D, the move to Parkey already won us a game and Haack looks like the second coming of Reggie Roby. Haack was as pivotal to this win as any player on the field.

Too bad we lost Tannehill and are stuck with Cutler, this could have been a special season if we had a decent QB at the helm. But that's not on the FA, that is on Gase and only Gase for going with Cutler.

Said it in previous weeks . . . this is looking like the anti 2013 from a draft perspective.

Never thought they could remake the defense so quickly. Sucks that IAQ, McMillan and Lippet got hurt but hopefully when TJ gets back we can actually have more of a complete unit.

Great post and I agree with everything but this. Gase made what was logically the best move at the time. Anyone with half of a brain knows Moore can't take us through a whole season... much like Cutler, we are finding out. Easy to say though now in retrospect.

Gase brought in a guy with the most experience, most familiarity with his system he could find. Someone he relates to on a personal level.

However, it looks like Cutler is as advertised & selects which plays in which he'd like to show enthusiasm. That doesn't cut it for me, but for you to say this is on Gase is equally as lazy on your part, IMO. If anything, the argument could be made its on Ryan and/or doctors that lead us down this path. Not Gase's fault for trying to pick up the pieces where they were left.

Signing Cutler was the best move for this team when Tannehill went down again. Look around the NFL at other teams in QB disaster mode, & get back to me.

Sad, but I have to agree with B-Rob. BPA at the time. Leave it to Cu******r to muck up everything. You can't play scared in the NFL.

They need to get better o-line play. It’s been pretty bad to watch.

this is exactly what threw a monkey wrench in everything, IMO. they were too ****y when it came to the OL this offseason. I'll blame that negligence wayy before I blame Gase for adding Cutler after RT went down.

I agree with a lot of that, however this same front office is responsible for Tunsil, Bushrod, Steen, Pouncey extension, Julius Thomas, and the Stills extension that may cost us Landry. I'm pinning Gase on Ross and Cutler on Gase or it would be even worse. So if you average a sold B+ on defense with the F- on offense what would you get??? D, D+??

So now the front office is dumb for selecting Laremy Tunsil at #13 overall?!

The ONLY reason that would render this FO stupid for the Tunsil selection would be a substance abuse or character issue, which we've had zero inclination of thus far. gtfo.

You get a D+ for this post.

The three biggest issues on offense are Thomas, Tunsil and Bushrod. Next year this defense has the potential to be top 5. Lots of talent on that side of the ball. Adding McMillen, Timmons, Godchaux, Harris and Tankersley is really paying off.

Draft looks good early on.
They need to fix the O-line next
