Crocker officially starting at safety!

This doesn't bode well for the Phins. I live in Atlanta, and I've watched Crocker play many times, and this guy absolutely sucks. I'm sorry to say it, but I think this move tells us more about Allen than it does about Crocker.
 
He had a great second half last year (35 Tackles, 3 INTs) which may have translated into starting for us this year more than production in the pre-season. I'm still skeptical about him though.
 
Anyone know if Jason Allen is considered a back up safety or will he once again be shifted between safety and corner? I read some comment last week that Sparano liked his versitility, so does that mean that once again he will be moved around? He seems to be mature enough now to handle it anyway.

wow, what does this mean for jason allen? Was he that bad or was crocker that good?

He will play both, FS/CB but he is a better FS imo but thats not saying much.
 
Boy am i glad that Saban (the man who was supposedly a defensive genius) decided to take JA instead of Cromartie. Every single person on this site was praying for Cromartie, yet Saban took JA. I feel disgusted right now...

He blows and Allen is better? Oh that must be why Crocker is the starting FS then.

Eh the term "professional evaluators" gets tossed around so often, what does it really mean these days? I don't think the FO has as much brains as you

I am not really worried, Jason Allen should get plenty of time but as soon crocker starts making mistakes the caoches will take no time pulling him out.

Maybe. But, if Crocker is pulled it will be in favor of Hill, not Jason Allen. I knew the Allen homers would come out in this one(not talking about you necessarially Dfan06).

Its perfectly OK for them to come out and trash Crocker, much like its OK for the Beck homers to bash any other QBs we have(or the whole team for that matter to make excuses for Beck's play). But, anyone who bashes guys like Allen and Beck who actually do blow are just haters and not real fans because they have bad things to say about a dolphins player....:rolleyes:

wow i didn't think about that... I live in San Diego and Cromartie is one of the best young CB in the league! WOW I HATE SABAN.
