Crocker Released. Good fit in Miami?

Honestly, really didn't have that much of a problem with CC at free safety. Stone hands, but he was progressing well, never knew why we just gave up on him once he got injured.

Think back to the first two weeks of the 2008 season and you will have your answer.

Crocker is the best we can come up with? I would rather start a rookie.

hard to believe coyle had as much success as he did as a dbs coach with some of the garbage he had to play with...and gibril wilson in your 2 deep at safety...good lord...reggie nelson...you must be a heck of a coach

chris crocker was horrendous in the bengals playoff loss at houston...god awful hells no...

We seem to be getting rid of the old and signing the young with the new coaching staff. Seems we want players that will be here for 4 years like in Green Bay.

Mostly younger guys that were not good enough to start for their former teams. Artis Hicks is definately not young or good

Crocker released...he should be back in ........

...for imposing as a football player.

I've watch this team for 40 some years and can't remember a worse safety than Crocker was for us for that half year...I don't know, somehow Coyle must have been able to cover up for his stone hands, weak coverage and slow recovery speed in Cincy but I can't see that fitting here and likely he remembers as well...

No thanks. Ranked 72nd in tackles for DBs (as a strong safety) and 5th on his own team behind the FS (Nelson), 2 LBs and a Defensive Lineman. He also had 0 INTs and 0 Passes Defended, 1 FF and 0 Fumble Recoveries. He's not a playmaker. He's had an injury filled past too. Go young and give a kid a chance to succeed. Build for the future unless you can get someone better.

We've already seen this movie. Definitely don't need to see the sequal
