Man, this is not a good offseason for Free Shoes U. I'm a 'Canes fan and even I'm starting to take pity on them. Okay, that's not true, but I do feel bad for Cromartie.

Yeah, never, ever feel bad for Florida State. Just sit back, have a good laugh, and be glad you weren't brainwashed into making them your favorite team. :D

Brainwashed?...wrong school...Florida State fans typically cheer for their team due to an affiliation with the University unlike the nations greatest fairweathers.
 
it's probably not cool to be happy for a player to be injured, but whatever...i hate the noles and i'm thanking god one of their best players is out

Lol, I'm hoping you don't mean Miami, we have more hater's than anybody I think. FSU is consistently listed as a top 5 school in the polls EVEN AFTER LOSING TO MIAMI for the last SIX TIMES in 5 years. We're going for 7 wins in 6 this years, and don't seem to have a problem, what with the FSU qb thinking he's God, and the top tackles being the wife-beater type. God it's great, to hate Florida State. Hell is their tranquil spot. :evil:

It's easy to hate a great school. I mean, how many other schools can say they finished in the Top 5 for 14 consecutive years, it sure isn't Miami. But we can say we ride with our team through the good and bad. And I'm guessing you're like most Cane fans, being that you were a Gator fan when the Canes were on probation. We beat ya'll 5 consecutive years (95-99) and you don't hear one Seminole fan bragging about it do you. And I don't mean just beat ya'll, I mean we whooped ya'll (41-7, 47-0 just to name a couple). So just knock us while we are down. On a personal note, I guess it's a good thing when people question is FSU still is any good after only losing 3 games. I also believe Miami finished 3rd in the ACC last year didn't they.:D

Surrrre, not one Criminole fan ever talks sh*t at a sports bar. Right. Where the hell do you watch football games, in your room? So you're guessing I'm like 'most Canes fans' who were Gator fans during the probation? Guess again. All my teams are in South Florida and all my teams get my support through good and bad. Yeah, and uh, how many schools besides Miami have 5 National Championships in 20 years? When you can say that about those slackers in Slackasassee, get back to me. Have a garnet and gold day.cool:

Whatever year it was that FSU and Miami almost shared the national championship, when Weinke lost to Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl (I was probably 9 or 10), I was in a grocery store with my mom when a 50-something man walked to me. I was wearing a UM shirt and the guy told me that he would rather lose every game in a season rather than share the championship with Miami. That was classy, he sure told a 10 year-old.

Two years ago me and Miadphan13 were in Jax for the Phins game and we watched the UM/FSU game the previous day at a sports bar up there. Most of the crowd were Noles fans. On one play a UM receiver was hit and was down for a few minutes. One FSU guy at the table in front of us was laughing his a*s off about it. Funny thing about it was he was in a wheelchair. At that point, I thought it would have been really funny to see him fall out of his chair and crawl around in his Chris Rix jersey. :rofl3:
