FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The New York Jets are down, but not out of things to say.

Cornerback Antonio Cromartie, looking ahead to their rematch against the Miami Dolphins, said Thursday the Jets were a superior team than the Dolphins four weeks ago even though they were embarrassed, 23-3. And he doesn't feel like anything has changed.

The Dolphins (8-7) are one game ahead of the Jets and still have a chance to make the playoffs. The Jets were eliminated before last week's game.

"I felt like we were the better team then," Cromartie said. "Do I feel like we're a better team now? Yeah, we're running the ball better and we're playing the pass a whole lot better. I think the biggest thing for us is to put it all together and win a game on the road."

Cromartie also said he relishes the idea of crushing the Dolphins' playoff hopes.

This pisses me off and I hope it motivates the **** out of the Dolphins to go out and embarrass the Jests. **** the Jets and everyone to do with them.
 
Not that we should need any extra motivation for this game, but... Tack that **** up on the 'ol bulletin board and go kick their asses.
 
He certainly does a lot of crowing.

Too bad for him he is one part of one of the worst secondaries in the league. He is going to get torched all day on Sunday.
 
This better fire ouur guys up! Damn I can't stand these fuking jets man... I hate them the most. Even tho that's a natural thing for a player to say about his team! Lol

133 of his 185 kids think the Phins are the superior club.

He is lucky that about 12 of them know him. Otherwise he would need a lot more than 40 that simply know nothing about football to agree with him.
 
they have 7 wins with the worst qb in the league, pretty much zero talent at the skill positions on offense and the loss of the their best defender in revis. pretty unbelievable how we only have 1 more win than they do. if we lose sunday ireland AND young frankenstein(philbin) should be GONE!!!!
 
It should most certainly fire up the Fins. However, we thought after losing two in a row and coming off of the bye, the Fins would be "pumped" for the Bills and they were flat. We heard how "angry" they were the week leading up to the Tampa game...they started and finished lousy.

My point is this is not an emotional team and **** like this does not matter good or bad for this team. I agree I would be angry and more alert the rest of the week because it is disrespectful, but it does nothing for this Dolphins group.

Alright, can we go one damn thread without somebody bringing up firing Ireland or Philbin. We get it, just friggin stop. This is why we can have nice things.
 
there is no toughness at all on this dolphins team. they take their lead from their clueless head coach. if the jets stuff our run game, which should be a piece of cake, we're gonna fall flat on our faces and lose. book it.... being angry isnt gonna help the oline block better.

youre right ruckus, forget about a new gm after 6 mediocre seasons...im sorry man, im estatic that we won 8 games this yr, 1 more than last. it is such a positive sign for the future and we are super bowl bound soon. yay!
