The jest used to be more of media circus than the phins. We can now thank J Martin for topping anything Vaark could come up w/ about Sancheez & foot fetishes.

In Jets folklore, this will be remembered as the season that would have led to another Super Bowl, if they'd only had Mark buttfumble fit and healthy.
Even lots of Dolphin fans hope that Mark and Rex are both resigned by the Jets for next year.

Note - I try to edit it to show the name 's a n c h e z' but it is automatically replaced by the word buttfumble. Clearly his finest moment in the NFL...
It would be funny if we ended up signing him as a backup.

Philbin and Tannyhill went 7-9 last year ,the same record the Jets will have this yr, with much less talent on offense and defense. The Jets have a former S.B mvp,all-pro tight end,a running back with a career 5 yd per carry average,2 all-pro lineman, and a kicker who is 31-33 fg attempts, The Jets were lucky the Media gave them no chance and it was oblivious with the talent they had on their team they had a good team going into the season. I believe Rex has sucked it up again. He is right up there with Swartz as the worst coach in the league. We need to destroy this team...They have not had two straight wins in years. The pleasure of watching Rex cry as dolphins fans run through the background ,telling the media he believes this is last game as coach as a the Jets coach and he is a loser. Yet we are going to the payoffs. Everything comes around. From Channing Crowder to the big FU he gave us fans, Make this personal and lets end Rexes jets career where he might not being kissing Bellys rings ,but kissing our axxes.
 
Go jets if it means Ireland gets axed.

Lose the mini battle and win the war (big picture). This team sucks anyway (thanks to ireland). Run down positional units and the Bills are a better team than the dolphins sans QB. They have better o-line, better WR unit, better RB's, better linebackers, better (and more productive) d-line, and secondary is close (miami is without their best secondary player - Patterson and he may not be back next yr anyway and played his last game in miami so i also give secondary to the bills)

yeah, the dolphins suck. thanks jeffy for this boring garbage every year. Go jets so we can get rid of that idiot once and for all because nothing special will happen with him calling any shots

In both of those games Miami was the road team following a victory. That scenario has a tendency for subpar efforts, as I've emphasized since I joined this site. This week the Jets are on the road after a victory.

We have the situational advantage. It's like a one stagger lead in a 400 yard race. Now we need to avoid a choke.

On edit: My mistake. I thought you referred to the second Bills game, not the first. Bye weeks have varying tendencies. Buffalo was on the road following a loss and as a large road underdog within the division. That's a positive spot, generally leading to a better effort than anticipated. Many of us here posted that the Bills would not be a pushover, particularly after losing badly at Miami a year earlier. That type of rout seldom repeats at the same site.
 
Cromartie should shut his yap and focus on his child support payments for his baby mamas. Dumb Azz.

would you like him to say a team w/ 1 more win and a vet QB is better than his team? what kind of competitor would he be if he believed that?

No because we have a better record. Isn't that what the nfl goes by? How could he say the jets were better first game when we totally dominated and after that game we had a better record than jets. Head to head the bills are better. Can't deny what they dis to us last week.
