Nice read on this player. Crosby looks like somebody that can and is willing to be coached. Physically he's there, better size and stature than are beloved Chambers. Somebody with a heavy heart like that is usually determined and usually succeeds. I sure hope the Dolphins dont lie to him (ie Edwards) because in my life, people like that have a way of proving doubters wrong. I'm in his corner.

Hey the Colts have three, the Rams had and will have three this year (Curtis), Seattle had three, Pittsburgh and you can even throw New England in their as teams that have three interchangeable receivers. All those teams have had some type of success toward being playoff and Superbowl teams. How bout this for a change, Miami takes the lead on innovation and goes at another receiver to develop a quartet (Boston, Crosby, Chambers and Booker).

I'd give no more than a 7th rounder for him because he'd probably be on the PS all season to refine his skills.

im with yoda on this one, we have solid back ups, look at it.....derious thompson will be our 4th WR, he scored 4 TD's last year, brian Gilmore will be our 5th reciever, he scored 2 TD's last year and they put up stats that were reasonable considering the situation we were in, they are more then good for the 4th and 5th WR roles

Agreed. I like the potential this guy brings to the table but he'd be nothing more than a project considering his history of injuries and the fact that he's been away from the game for 4 years. I'd be shocked if anyone used anything higher than a 7th on him.

Why don't we? What if Boston goes down like last season? We're then left with only Chambers and Booker.

On top of that who, besides Chambers do we know will be with us next season. Thompson def. won't be unless he starts looking like Alvin Harper...

I would give up a sixth rounder for him. Although I like Boston, it's not guaranteed that he will be here for the long term either.

This year, we are set at WR... BUT... Lets think about the future...

Chambers - Locked up... aint goin nowhere
Booker - I believe he is under contract for a couple of years

Then who? :hmmm:
Boston - On a 1 year contract with major injury issues
D. Thompson - Contract is wayyy too much to be here next year
Gilmore - He isnt going to ever be a starting caliber WR

That leaves us wit our starters in place... but #3 and #4 may not even be on this team next year... IF and only IF this kid has got some serious potential (Dont know too much about him, but sounds like he has the physical tools) we should think about using a 7th rounder on him... I mean really, its not like a 7th rounder is worth anything anyway. You dont find probowlers in the 7th unless you just get rediculously lucky... he would be worth spending a 7th on because all 7th round picks are "projects" anyway...
