While the whole world knows this guy is exactly what the doctors ordered for ailing Miami's defense, forget it. it won't happen simply because Terrence have weight issues. Who doesn't? The news out of Denver is he was fined over $300,000 for being over weight. We all know Joe Philbin can't handle someone like him besides he might be following his old coach to Oakland.

I thought you might have something concrete, like you know, a contract extension or something....

This "Philbin type of player" has become a problem, which Tannanbaum may correct. I'm not saying we should have players with big character issues but, if we eliminate players who talk, have a bit of an attitude, and do not agree with everything Philbin wants to do we limit our team in today's NFL. This is no longer Saint Vince's my way or the highway.

That issue has become a problem from day one, hence the perpetual mediocrity. I do get coaches want to shape the roster to their own liking but the is way out of hand.

The only thing out of hand is the critics misconception of Philbin's so-called inability to handle troubled or out spoken players. Yes, he has shipped off players that he may have deemed a detriment to his coaching philosophies but we also have plenty of players that are not "saints". "Raw Dog" is a pretty damn good example along with Starks, Pouncey and others.

Misleading thread title. YOu make it sound like a fact that we will not sign him and made me think he resigned with Denver.

big azz.

Ive moved on from him a little. thinking draft and resign Odrick.

Thinking a G and WR in FA and maybe even a TE. Draft your D with some WR and RB.

Agree. I don't think its a necessity to have a roster completely compromised of Randy Moss/Ray Lewis types. But, it helps to have a few Junior Seau/Jason Taylor/Marino types.

On a tangent, I'd love to know what Principal Joe said to the snake's dad. I still maintain that Joe kept things together during bullygate.... imagine now if Rex Ryan were the phins HC then?
