I've been on the record in saying this team was going to turn it around and that i supported saban well i was wrong about our team and saban really let me down today,
My analysis,,

1} How does a professionally coached team at the highest level make such a stupid third down call at the end of the game,we had time and all we needed was two yards,,why in the hell did we go downfield twenty yards.
2}Saban showed fear and weakness to his team by not going for the touchdown earlier in the game,,we put together our best drive of the season and he interrupted their rythym,i don't care if you don't make it,the message of not going for it in that situation is far more detrimental than not making it in so many different ways. That decision is a team killer and will have a carryover effect.

3}i can't wait for daunte to get healthy.

4}Randy Mcmike is out of shape and very lethargic,,fact!!

5}even though ronnie had over a 100 yards today,he is good but will not be as good as i hoped he would be.

6}On the play where laverneous coles scored the long touchdown,if you watch it again you will see a full blitz coming from the right side, leading that blitz no other than that blitzing assasin himself Zach thomas,,this is bad coaching, how can they be so stupid.

7}The reason they suck in the first 3 and a half quarters is because they get more time in between plays to think about not making mistakes, this anxiety stems from saban preaching don't worry about the opponent, worry about yourself, well i understand that philosophy but i think the emphasis should be taken off them and lets preach okay we all know how to play football now lets go attack the opponents weaknesses,,The patriots don't worry about themselves they worry about their opponent.

8}and the reason why were good at the end is because the p[ressure is off,,this is a mentally weak team. Why,why, why do the players change and the product stays the same?? someone needs to get angry!!!

9}chambers is not an aggressive #1,soft demeanor

10}LETS TALK DRAFT , PAUL POLUZNSKY FROM PENN STATE IS MY WISH PICK,ATTITUDE,TOUGH,LEADER,FOOTBALL PLAYER.

I agree with all but going for it again on 4th down. We tried it once, which was the right move, but to go into their territory again and not score would have demoralized the offense. We just needed points at that point. How could the coach know the D would give up a big TD next drive. If we had gone and not made it, I dont think they would have recovered.

Even Bellichek followed the same mindset last game and it paid off.

I understand it but sometimes you take that chance because the message is more important for the long term,,you don't think players are saying if we would have gone for it we would of won the game,,now that being said i'am sure saban will say if they felt that strongly about it they should of picked it up in the three downs prior, which is a valid point,i just feel like we were finally in a rythym and he did his part to stop it

#2 is a the possible difference in the game and if you dont make it 98 yards against a defense thats playing pretty good.

This might be the best thing he wrote. Think about it. I mean, REALLY think about our past several years. What's the common theme? When the pressure's on, we fold. When it's off, we prosper. That IS a weak team characteristic.

Examples:

2005: 3-7, but Miami wins the final six games because the pressure was OFF. No playoffs in sight, so the team performed well.
2004: 1-8 when Wanny quit. No playoffs so there's no pressure on them. They went 3-4 under Bates to close out the year.
2002: 9-5 and needed a win for the playoffs. Lost at Minnesota and gave away the NE game. So no playoffs.
1999: 8-2 and we lose 5 of the last 6 to finish 9-7 but back into the playoffs.
1993: Heck this goes WAY back, to the start of our December swoons. Miami's 9-2, but loses the final five games to finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs.

So it's simple: With nothing to play for in December, Miami does well since the pressure's off. When there's a lot on the line, our Decembers are very bad to us. We can't handle pressure! :fire:

sorry boys, but with the easy part of the schedule out of the way, the best case scenario for this team is 8-8
realistically 6-10 is a bit out of the question but i still remain faithful

What?? Talk about eating Crow ...

The biggest Crow Eaters on this BOARD - are those who predicted Daunte The Savior would be leading this Team to the promised land.

You know ... these Kool-Aid drinkers who bought all the media HYPE about a QB who had one great season waaaay back in 2004 - then returned to form last year with lousy play - before a career ending injury. But he was magically going to return JUST like he was in 2004. He and the media and the Team marketing folks convinced Saban to start him. True Believers!

But for several weeks ... guys around here refused to eat their Crow. They kept saying it was the O-Line. Daunte was just FINE, it was all the O-Lines fault!!

NOW reality has set in. Hope ya'll are enjoying that heapin' helpin' of Crow!

seems to me this team has no fire until the 4th, i mean what is up with the first int when joey hit chris right in the numbers

the only thing on this team that has fire throughout is the defense, but from being on the field for so long they get tired and fall off in the second half
