After his career day with 3 tackles and 1 interception
Crowder showed up at Jacksonville with ONE tackle:ponder:

This season he has 1 interception,0 forced fumbles,1 sack

Should one of our safeties have over double the tackles OF
Crowder 97 for Bell and 47 for Crowder.Should the other safety have 35 more tackles than Crowder

Crowder also leads our team with 10 missed tackles:ponder:
Wilson is next with 7 missed tackles

I feel that inside linebacker has to be upgraded in the offseason...maybe both players...How many times do we have to see opposing running backs run past our two inside linebackers only to get tackled by one of the safeties???
 
you can't forget Akin A. he is a slow and sloppy linebacker too !
 
He has really regressed this season. Last season, he sucked, yeah, but he made the tackles. Now he just doesn't do anything.
 
Yeah Crowder had nothing to do with limiting the NFL's leading player in Touchdowns in Maurice Jones-Drew to 59 yards on 18 rushes for a 3.3 yard average and no runs longer than 15 yards. Thats 1.2 yards down from his average of 4.5 yards per carry on the season. Also effectively limiting him to one of his worst performance of the season. All while being the player who makes all the calls to the entire defense and reads the offense.
 
are teams running the ball on us? no? that's what i thought.

he is better suited for akin's position though. draft spikes - move crowder over - good times.
 
Sparano had a glowing report for him today in his press conference.

Probably a good reason we are 14th in the league in rushing defense and 18th in total defense.. Funny how he makes the defense, makes the adjustments and ends up with only 1 tackle..
 
Funny. Sparano said in his news conference today that crowder played great yesterday and was all over the field.

Of course Sparano has to show confidence in his guys, doesn't want to mess with crowders fragile ego.. oh and the part about being all over the field :lol: .. yeah all over the field in over-pursuit confusion.. it did work out last week against the patriots though, when he was in the middle of nowhere with no pats players in sight to make that game ending INT hahaha that replay was priceless..
 
Guys no offense, but our Dline yesterdat dominated. Soliai had 4 tackles, Starks had 4 tackles, Merling had 2, Mcdaniel 1 & Langford 1. That is a total of 12 tackles by your Dline. Torbor had 3 tackles and a sack. I like Crowder & Akin both have had up and downs, but I really want Akin benched and Torbor in there permanent. Alot have said they want more Wake, I want more Torbor & offcourse more Wake.
