That is why Y.Bell is 10th in the League for Total tackles and Crowder is 14th.

Bell is 7th in the AFC and Crowder right behind him at 8th.

Kind gay how some people think they should not be signed. They are great players.

All the people that say Bell is not a playmaker makes me laugh. It also could be that maybe he's trying to make up for Hills pathetic play and can't take away the entire football field which last time I checked I don't think any 1 safety could. Im glad we have this guy on our team and I hope we lock him for a while.

So many people say he over persues plays which he does but can you argue with that stat? There should also be other players on the weakside filling holes and coming to the ball too right? I know he does it but when he's putting up the numbers you can't say we should get rid of him. It's just something he'll have to focus on from now until the start of next season. The kid will be fine our coaching staff will iron that out since we actually do have a real coaching staff this year.

wait... I think your serious

:foundout:

Tackles don't make players good. Half of Crowder's tackles are from him chasing down the running back after he found the cutback that crowder gave him and got up the field some.

As for Bell, he is a good player, but the reason he has so many tackles is Crowder doesn't know how to take away the cut back, so somebody has to be there to make the play.

Crowder is average, not good. He makes tackles but at the same time he is often out of position. I would rather have someone who is in position and will force the running back to chose another hole.

I think Ed reed could pull it off

Good to see someone who actually understands the game a little. Nice job.

i dont know most people that have played the game know that tackles are pretty damn important. Every tackle is a score that is prevented. Crowder is one of the good players on our defense and is only 24 years old and will only get better.Crowder covers alot of ground so guys like Porter can get pressure on the qb. He is very underrated on this board. I think alot of people really dont understand Crowder's role. I dont recall any runningbacks just running all over us this year

Somehow your use of suck my butt and gay in the same post just doesn't sit right....................

Perfectly stated. Recall the opening play against the Cards and the last play against the Texans? Great energy but only average as an LB. We can do better in the draft then re-signing him.

Your odds of doing better than Crowder in the draft really are not that good. He is 24 friggin years old and has been good enough to start from day one. He is in his second year of playing inside linbacker after playing outside and has taken over Zach Thomas role for the first year. For those that think its so easy to improve , look at how many rookie 3-4 inside linebackers are outplaying him.

Being good enough to start on a team with a lack of talent is not saying much.
