Crowder Flattened...AGAIN!

Steve Smith, WR for the Carolina Panthers jacked up Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder in Thursday night's game. He flattened Crowder with a clean open-field block. It was a classic head-snapper. Did you see it? I was surprised that he got right up the way he did!

What makes this disturbing is that a trend is developing. Crowder also got flattened by Leon Washington in the Jets / Dolphins Monday Night Mauling!

Crowder is now developing a NASCAR like following as a player to watch on each play as he's getting pancaked by offensive ball-carriers!
 
It was just a great play by Smith, how was that in anyway something Crowder did wrong?
 
and just another reason to all you Crowder supporters why we need to get rid of him...i saw the same play and to be honest with you guys,it didn't surprise me at all...at best Crowder is an average ILB,and i want him gone...

every player in the league gets knocked on their ***...

i swear to god some people on this board are so CLUELESS about football it actually angers me...

some people act like no other player in the league:
Gets stuffed behind the line of scrimmage on a run
gets caught from behind
misses a block
runs out of bounds
drops a pass
throws an INT
gets pancaked
misses a tackle

some people need to watch maybe more games than just the Dolphins to understand that in the game of football these things happen all the time to everyone...

Still waiting to hear what he did wrong on the play. I dont care if your a DLinemen or the biggest man in the NFL, If someone is comming full speed and blindsides you, your going to go down.

Seriously, want to complain about mistackles? ok. Want to complain about his cover skills? ok. But to complain because he got blindsided? Seriously?

Are you being serious? So he was suppose to know a guy was running up on his blind side, give me a break. I tell you what Smith runs right at him head to head and knocks him on his butt you have a point.

Suggs got taken out by a QB the other night I guess that was his fault right?

Wow a defender got knocked down. get rid of him now, we only want pro bowlers that dont ever get out of position and knocked down by a defender.

This is a bad thread, not every player is going to be perfect on every play.
 
crowder was defenseless. but the reason people like to go after him is because hes always running his gator talkin smack. if he would keep his pie hole shut he wouldnt get popped as much.

So tell us, what should have Crowder have done to defend 185lbs coming at him at full pace, while he was turning around?
