He is already playing at a very high level and making a lot of plays on the field when it counts. Crowder is very smart and is quick to the ball which makes him always making key tackles like Zack has been doing for many years. IMO, Zack Thomas has been mentoring him ever since he became a starter and it shows. Opposing teams will key on Porter, Taylor and Thomas when it comes to blocking defensive players out of the game but they will not have enough blockers for the Crowder's and Holliday's to get the job done and the Dolphins will get the tackle or sack. I say Crowder will have a Pro Bowl type year.:ninja:

crowder might have a very good year, but hes not going to the probowl cuz he wont have the #s.

I think he's going to have to wait for a Pro Bowl until he moves into ZT's spot full-time. That's his traditional position after all.

im not sure about a probowl type year because we have Thomas and porter at linebacker and they will probly be making the tackels

Crowder won't be a pro-bowler until he mans the middle btw. He'll also probably be the odd man out in nickel and dime situations which could possibly lower his tackles.

I think I remember reading that Thomas is going to be taken out of nickel formations.

I hope so, I enjoy watching ZT play, but he just can't cover in nickel situations.

Crowder will have a great season, he has the experience and the talent to do it, and no one wants to be the "other" linebacker with Porter and Thomas, the competition should elevate his play even higher.

I don't share your vision for Crowder and the future. When is his contract up.

In fact, perhaps the Dolphins should consider cutting or trading DC and Booker and trading Crowder and a third for Briggs.

If Crowder is all that, this trade should be a no brainer for the Bears.

The ten million we were going to pay DC and MB should cover Briggs and the dead money on the salary cap.

The Dolphins feild the greatest linebacking core in the history of the NFL.

Why would we trade Crowder, he is a young value player. We are paying him the money of a third round pick when he should have been a first round pick if it weren't for that knee injury. He is the heir apparent to Zach, I say lock him up when his contract is done!
