did you guys see how well CC played? no not chambesr, crowder. he played good and i believe he has lead our team in tackling the last 2 games.

he hits hard, he is big, and pretty quick. did you see when he blitz the QB? how he hit him so hard and nice as oppose to ZT? i think slowly CC is coming along and playing great.

ZT has showed how he is going backwards the last 2-3 weeks and i remember last year he was just amazing but thi syear, i gotta admit, he is showing aging and showing it very fast and CC is showing how he is taking over that LB spot slowly.

Lets not forget about the guy in your avatar, he had a great game yesterday as well...

yeah, crowder is an animal and times his blitzes well and has the size to mow over would be blockers. Zach was very active and all over the place and played great

zach gest toyed when he blitzes. he reminds me of my chiwawa (SP) loll

Crowder is developing nicely. Looks like his injury problems are behind him (knock wood).

You look at how Urlacher can stand up a block and make a play. He is BIG! Zach flies around but if you get pads on him you can knock him out of the way too easily. Crowder is a big boy and he can take on blocks. There is no way Crowder shouldn't be manning the middle in '07. If ZT was faster he could move to safety - with his size he could play at 210 easily and he is certainly smart enough. Just not quick or tall enough I don't think.

SR 7...did you listen to Sabans presser? he talked about how four guys graded out with more than twenty points for the game, and Channing was one of them... I was wondering if he said "Go Gators" as he sacked Grossman....

I'm a Nole and the biggest homer out there. Crowder is one of 2 players recently out of UF that I loved (see Chad Jackson). I was so pumped that we drafted him, and I think I'm the only person out there with a Crowder jersey when I go to the Fins games. This kid is still only 22 I think and is just going to be a stud when he develops. Someone tried to compare him recently to Merriman, but hey, at least Crowder is clean.

i think crowder reallyu did play well...i find it interesting that many of us think the same exact things

It's about time he showed up! I reallly can't understand how people can blast Ronnie as unproductive and leave this guy alone. If it weren't for a personal foul here and there he would be merely a warm body. It's Zach and two tackling dummies for a LB corp.

Looks to me like he's been here all year!

Channing has been fine, except when called on to support safetys in coverage. And against the run they have all been at worst acceptable vs. the run. The real problem has not been vs. the run game but the LBs, including CC, along with Tillman and Hill not covering the receivers well. Sunday our safetys and Lbs all covered well.

And ZT is past his prime but still effective especially vs. the run. Still a solid tackler. He is undersized and yeah he will have trouble at times. He never was a pass rusher but we already knew that. I say he has at least two more good years in him. IMHO his demise is exaggerated.

To be fair to Channing, he has not been asked to play coverage that much. It's been mostly Zach or Spragan

yes he was all over the place yesterday.i know he has had good numbers this year but in games it didnt seem like he was really there for a while but yesterday just wow.how bout when he crushed grossman:wink:
