He's either lying or he's one crazy SOB....I saw what those things did to Yeller....I aint getting near one of 'em.

I've gotta say, Hog Hunting is the funnest thing I have ever done. We do a similar thing, but we have pistols with us just in case the hog gets the best of someone... and we do it at night, using catch dogs. I totally believe his story, lots of people do it. If you ever get the chance, I would recommend going if you have the balls.
 
This was written about in a SI issue a year ago, they had Florida ranked #10 in the country in part because of a "hogwild linebacker". You gotta love Georgia.
 
I grew up in Daytona Bch and there were plenty of folks that did this. I knew one old guy who was about 60 yrs old and only weighed about 100lbs. He would go out without dogs, and just a knife, and come back with a boar.
His kids (in their 30s and big guys) got yelled at for offering to help load it in the pickup. He was a tough old cuss.

But, this is most likely true, and very popluar in Central Florida as well.

you turn them upside down and stab the in the armpits because thats the softest place. It's fun.
 
Like Kellen Winslow, did we put something in his contract about this? LOL
