Crowder should be commended for his control during that incident, he clearly thought of the team first and he has earned a new found respect from me. Good Job Channing! Hopefully the league will do the right thing.

how is that respecting the team? Crowder could have easily walked away without pushing or shoveing/punching Light, but he did push and shove, so he gets no respect to me, if anything he should have just walked away

Post like this just confirm the pussification of American society for me. So, Crowder pushes him, gets de-helmeted and punched in the head repeatedly. However, he walks away from the pile laughing, and you have the nerve to say that he wasn't respecting the team. You must have played sports like chess or ladies golf when you were growing up.

He shoved him because Light got him arm behind his head and took his helmet off and continued to drive him to the ground. Crowder was just showing an attitude that all of our players on D should have which is were not just going to let them push us around. He did very well with not letting his emotions take over so no punches were thrown. Props to Crowder.

LMAO your right man. Sometimes I just dont get it. We as fans expect these Grown men to compete and fight(not literally) and give it their all yet when **** hits the fan we complain. Me personally, I don't see really what crowder did wrong. Him and light were blocking the crap out of each other, when light takes crowder to the ground and rustles his helmet off. ANYONE who has played football before with a tight chip strap KNOWS it doesn't feel very good to get your helmet ripped off.

Channing was rightfully angry and lunged at light, something many players do in the course of a game, often resulting in a helmet to helmet bump before the players are separarted. This time though, light fricken grabbed his "ricky's" and started going WWE on the back of his head. Crowder didn't throw a single punch but yet he is ejected.
