Turner, Sheets or other? I'm thinking with Ricky being banged up we might see Sheets activated.
Pat Turner!!! I want to see how much he 'allegedly' sucks. We, as fans, need to write this guy off now, so we're not 'discussing' his potential in the off-season.
I would really like to see what Sheets could do on kick returns.
You're forgetting Hilliard, who has actually made it into games and produced (74 receiving yards last week). Not just returns, but in the base offense and running game. Sheets was very productive at Purdue, and it would be a shame to lose a potentially good player due to a numbers game at Running Back in 2010. (Do we carry Ronnie, Ricky, Cobbs, AND Sheets on the week 1 roster? Sheets needs to make his case.)

I hear ya, but with Ronnie (I think?), Ricky (for one more season), Cobbs (he was extended wasn't he?), Polite as FB, and now Hilliard making a case to stick around, it's one crowded backfield. But no one thought Hilliard would see any time at the start season (as the 4th RB) so you never know if/when Sheets will get a chance.Wow. Yeah, I did forget Hilliard. To be fair, it feels like the coaching staff forgot about him too, at times. :foundout:
Still, I'd hate to think a player who rushed for 1,100 yards in his senior season would be nothing more than an emergency waiver claim in the NFL.
I'd like to see both Turner and Sheets activated. I would really like to see what Sheets could do on kick returns.
Kory Sheets is going to be active this week because of the injury to Rickey. It'll be interesting to see if he gets any carries and what he does with them. TS says "he's a different kind of runner, more of a slasher".
