after watching culpepper go down with that nasty knee injury i had a thought, the vikes are horrible and might not win another game so if they end up with the #1 pick in the draft i think they trade culpepper and draft lineart to start fresh with a new coach imo, and if they do trade pepper we might be able to get him for alot less because of the injury. what would it take? ricky and a 2nd?

i just dont see pepper be traded/released...the cap hit would be enourmus (sp)

ya i really dont see it happenin either...dont they have some cap space....why not draft a lineman like dbrick winston or mcneil....then go after edge or alexander.

If Culpepp is out for the year that could actually be the best thing for his standing with the team. In that case, he'd have only had half a season of horrible performance for them to remember. Now, if the team struggles under Brad Johnson (as I'm sure they will) by the time next season comes around they'll all view Culpepper's return as a big boost for the offense, having conveniently forgotten that the offense sucked with Daunte in the game too.

what if they fire tice and try to hire pete carroll???

why woudl carroll leave USC? and i think if vikes have number one overall, they go for reggie bush. culpepper is signed to a long term deal i think over 100 million dollars. their new owner even redid the deal adding money.

Bush is the best pick for this franchise to turn around, relase Onterrio Smith, Mewelde Moore, keep Moe Williams and trade/release Bennett
