Who would you rather have Vince Young or Daunte Culpepper. I say Culpep just for the fact he is more experienced and overall i think he is just the better qb
 
OMG DC any day! Young is way too young, way too much to prove. DC has been there, knows where he's going and we're going with him!
 
Culpepper because he has proven himself in the league already.
 
A proven veteran, or a rookie who hasn't even play a down in pre-season yet......


I'll take the Inferno anyday.
 
Pep all the way!! I know Pep is a consistant dominent force in the NFL, where as with Young, he hasn't even played a down in the NFL yet. Young may be great someday, but Pep is great now.
 
Culpepper by a landslide.Young has proven to be a successful college QB, but has a lot to prove in the NFL.
Young isn't exactly a polished passer whereas Daunte can boast about having the NCAA's highest completion % as well as one of the best in NFL history. Vince Young, meanwhile, has little experience lining up under center and his throwing motion is awkward at best.
Athletically, you can't lose with either. Young is faster but you have to admire Culpepper's athleticism considering how big he is.
One thing about Young though, he wins games. Then again, he had a far better supporting cast in Texas than Daunte could dream of at UCF. Overall, Daunte in a heartbeat.
 
the only way i want vince young on the fins is if he is split out wide and culpepper is throwing to him.
 
Can I answer this question after the season?

I am a big Vince Young fan, but he is untested.
 
VINCE YOUNG..all he does is win..have ya'll even watched this kid play..Tennesee got him in camp and said, ByeBye Mcnair..would you rather have healthy Mcnair or brokedown Daunte?..with the bad knee! Somebody plz save this and repost it after the season because Daunte will NOT make it through the season..I will be surprised If he lasts 3-4 games..I like that you guys are homers, but get real! I play soccer and see these injuries all the time..he will not make it! I'm not pessimistic, just realistic!:boohoo:

I will not only mark them but sign up on that bandwagon. He has less talent and physical attributes than Mike Vick and look how hard it has been for him to dominate being that style of qb.

young was amazing in the rose bowl but seriously doubt if he will be competative in the nfl. d's are getting so agressive and solid that you need a qb who is smart.

so as for this thread. Cpepp all the way.
