the healthier daunte's knee is/was the more compensation the vikes would have received. is it possible that daunte knew his knee was coming along real well and wanted to stick it to the vikes by rehabbing away from the teams facility and thus hiding the true status of the knee? *cues xfiles music*

This part was a subtle showing of his willingness to put faith in the fins organization. Smart move as it is very easy to say dumb things unintentionally.

I can't wait to see Brees without Tomlison & Gates. Remember, Brees started performing when Gates emerged...
