...I know it's unlikely, but I can dream, right

Seriously though, if Joey can pick up his game here in Miami and realize most of his potential, we would have the luxury of a Ricky and Ronnie type situation at the most important position in the game. Losing Ricky this season has certainly been unfortunate, but if the Daunte/Joey situation functioned as well as the Ricky/Ronnie thing, how could anyone be unhappy? How many teams in the NFL have that kind of quality depth?

Here's hoping

Not many teams can claim they have two first round QBs on their team. Now if Saban and company can just get Joey to play like a first rounder should and Culpepper can get healthy and back to his 2004 form we will have the most awesome quarterback depth in the league.

There is a big difference in that Ricky and Ronnie could both see the field alot. QBs don't spell each other. It's a nice luxury to have in case something happens, but I don't think there is much similarity between Ronnie/Ricky and Culpepper/Harrington.

While it isn't technically "splitting time", Joey and Daunte could be splitting a fair amount of the season, in which case, I would venture to say that if they both experience success, they are actually far more valuable than the Ronnie/Ricky tandem. I know the board is deeply divided on whether Harrington can reach his potential, but if he proves himself here and leads the team to victory over a significant number of starts while Daunte is healing, then he will have proven more important than Ricky backing up Ronnie.
