I'm a lifelong Phin fan from Northern Maine and this is my first post. I am extremely excited about the Culpepper deal. Something everyone should be aware of is that any time a star athlete's reputation as a player is diminished, whether fairly or unfairly, they will come back with a vengeance because the pride and work ethic they posess which enabled them to be great in the first place. For this reason, I truly believe Daunte will be absolutely incredible for Miami! Agree?

welcome Matt, I think you are right. He's a Florida boy about to live a dream come true. Playing for the Dolphins. I hope he walks in with a big chip, determined to prove himself here.

:welcome: I absolutely agree, and wasn't it Prisco's article yesterday that mentioned him playing with a chip on his shoulder. Alot of people don't know the full story in Minnesota and the fact is that Pep was pretty much treated like crap by that organization after his injury.

I just hope Pep can pass his physical today :wheels:

I agree. Daunte has had no serious running game behind him at the Vikings and now he had Ronnie Brown and hopefully Ricky. He has a Pro Bowl WR in Chambers who has said he is thrilled to have Culpepper onboard. A TE that can get to the Pro Bowl in McMike. Daunte is coming back to his home state and hes restructured his contract to play with us. Now if anyone says he isnt showing a willingness and passion to play for us then they need to support another team. Get behind Daunte because he IMO is the best QB weve had since Dan and weve all gone without for too long regarding starting quality QB's in Miami.

:welcome: ....and seeing that he DID pass the physical, I think you're right. He will come back more determined after his injury and lead this team to big things! Not only does he have something to prove, but he wants to win a ring. He's got his chance now!

I love that he's from Florida and wanted to play there

perfect fit for a talented guy with 2 big go to receivers now

excitng times

watch out for Ronnie Brown Now too
