I was just curious about this because some people that are dissing on Culpepper do not seem to have any real reasons other than the fact he has small hands, his stupid TD dance, was only good with Moss (when in fact he had a GREAT season in 2004 when Moss was out much of the year), etc. By any chance do any of you people that don't think that DC is a good fit for the Phins have something deep inside of you saying that he can't help us win it all because he is African American and no team has ever won with an African American Quarterback? I mean honestly, this guy is a top tier QB in this league and was #2 only to "Perfect" Peyton Manning. I'm hearing things such as people are giving up their season tickets, they would never root for Culpepper, his injury is worse then Brees (give me a break ... a QB with a cannon for an arm tears ligaments in his knee and a QB with an average arm has SHOULDER surgery and you would take the guy who had shoulder surgery?), and best of all "This is a Wanny type move". I don't see how on Earth you can even compare giving a team NEXT years second round pick for a top tier QB to trading that same pick for a 3rd string NOBODY that had a couple of good games filling in for McNabb. So when it all boils down, I was just wondering if any of you DC haters are whining about this move because he is in fact African American and you hold a bias against that because of the fact that no black QB has ever won the Superbowl?

Please, please please don't start this.

I'm white, hate rap music and wear glasses but I LOOOOOVVVEEEE me some Daunte Culpepper.

Doug Williams was black and won a SB.

ohhhh, how I wouldnt love me some Daunte Culpepper too. ;)

I'm frankly not that excited about Culpepper, but I could give a damn about what color he happens to be. He has a track record of being a better fantasy football QB than a real QB. Now that he's a Dolphin, he's my QB. I have to say that he would not have been the guy I would have chosen if I were in Nick's shoes. I trust Nick, though.
