Culpepper Or Brees

Culpepper is probably better and more of a proto-typical type QB. He also knows our offense. I would be happy with either, you?

A poll would be a good idea.:dolphins: Brees, more so because he won't cost a draft pick than anything. Also mobile QB's are much more subject to injury and I HATE Dantes endzone dance.

Brees, Culpepper fumbles a lot, but I wouldn't cry if we got either of them

Brees, for sure.

Brees is a solid professional with a lot of guts. He can lead the offense. Culpepper has a ton of talent, but he still has some maturing to do. I don't see him as a very good leader. Also, Culpepper had a more serious injury. He tore just about every ligament a person has in their knee.

good post

I would take Culpepper. He can throw the long ball better. He can run. Most importantly we won't have to worry about a lingering shoulder injury that Brees has and could bother him in the future. We won't know how Brees would play after this off season surgery. I know you'll say Culpepper hurt his knee, but at least it doesn't affect his throwing. And his knee injury is on many QB's have been ok from. I don't even care if he can't run as well any more. We just need his arm baby.

See the other 47 threads on this subject..it's been talked out...lets wait a few hours to see how the CBA thing works out and we'll get the answers soon enough...

Kev...how do you know this ?? We don't know what the injury will do to his game. Both guys are questions, although it appears that Brees is closer to being healthy...Culpepper, according to the doctors, will take about a calendar year to get back to full health, if ever...too early to call either one healthy in regards to injuries they've sustained...
