For all of you who still think that Culpooper still gives us a better chance at winning than Harrington... Well, it's time to rip down those bare-chested posters of Daunte off yur walls. If you honestly think that JH played worse than Daunte, you really should stick with baseball and tennis, to save some face. Joey didn't do great but he looked like an NFL QB, and it's a nice change. Please remember this is the same Pats D that beat up on Carson Palmer last weekend, this wasn't Tennessee or Houston's D. Let JH shake off the dust. He hasn't started in a while and will only get better. Once the team builds some chemistry with him as the new starter, we'll be rolling again. Just please stop defending Daunte and ripping on Joey. It's not 2004 anymore. The Daunte man-crushes have got to end. Don't rip on Joey because he did better than DC could have. Be happy he hung with a good D. Be a Dolphin fan, not a Daunte fan. Come on now, let me hear some ridiculous Daunte defenses and some good Joey bashing!!!

I'm all for Harrington, and I thought he played a good game, but the bottom line is that he threw the 2 picks that resulted in 14 points for the Patsies and his Dolphins led offense only scored 10 points. I wouldn't annoint him our saviour just yet.

GO PHINS~!

I think its funny how many harrington defenders there are after i game we just lost with 2 picks that cost us the game... daunte is twice the qb harrington will ever be, i wanna hear what all yall are saying in couple weeks when harrington flops like he always does, this guy is a backup, this wont last, culpepper is the future

so 10 pts and 14 to the other team makes you a nfl qb these days. Where can I sign up?

I don't know, but maybe you should rip down your "bare-chested posters" of Joey off your wall. I'll admit Joey played a decent game (and that's being real nice!!!), but funny thing is that if Daunte played this exact same game performance, everyone with a "man-crush" on Joey would have ripped him apart. So be fair man, Daunte has not played well, but to say Joey played "well" today is ridiculous (just check out his stats). I think reasonable fans should recognize that right now we are in deep with our QB subpar performances. I hope we can get a solid performance from either one right now - cause I have yet to see it. And Joey's performance would've been pretty solid today in my opinion IF he wouldn't have had those 2 costly interceptions which led to 14 points.

Nice assessment, I agree.

Stat of the game! 1 sack. That is the one thing that really stood out today but then again there was the 2 ints. However I do think we should try Joey again nexct week. He at least showed us a glimpse of hope. I don't think Daunte's knee is 100% and he is taking to much time making reads. Joey was getting rid of the ball pretty quick which is why there was only one sack.

Nope the stat of the game was 17pts to the other team on turnovers. You don't get points for fewest sacks.

Daunte hasn't really been lighting up the scoreboard either. Just saying the 1 sack is much less than what we have been seeing. It kinda stood out. I am use to seeing points under 20 scored and seeing us giving away points.

Well said. The fins haven't had good Qb play all season. Joey did a pretty good job today, but the picks really hurt him- worse than a sack.
The team as a whole played its best game of the year, unfortunately some costly turnovers and penalties cost them the game.
It's unfortuante that it had to took five games into the season for the Dolphins to wake up.

This is off subject but I had to comment on that sig. I am :sidelol: .

Greg Cote of the Miami Herald is playing up the Daunte / Saban argument which apparently started on Wednesday. Supposedly Daunte was pissed after the game and gave no comment, but is making it known he wanted to play and does not appreciate being benched. From the Herald:

"Dolphins coach Nick Saban had an interesting take on the weekend that began Friday with him and quarterback Daunte Culpepper engaging in a heated argument, continued Saturday with Culpepper's benching, and culminated Sunday with a season-damaging loss to a division rival and the possible birth of a quarterback controversy."

this is the same Pats D that beat up on Carson Palmer last weekend, this wasn't Tennessee or Houston's D

You mean the Tennessee D that held the Colts to 14 points? What NE did last week doesnt mean anything about this weeks game.

Yeah, the same Tennessee D that gave up more points than any other team the week before. Tennessee and NE Ds are, umm, mildly different. Good point though.
Once again people, I don't think Joey is the savior you all wish Daunte could be. He's just playing better than Daunte can. I'm not saying he used to play better than Daunte, I'm saying he IS playing better than Daunte.
I just think it's funny some people really think Joey did worse than what Daunte would have.

After Sunday's game I was all for starting Harrington for the rest of the season and the offense looks much more in sync with Joey in the game.
