Culpepper Should Be Ready For Start Of Season

well if we dont get brees is it so terrible we get culpepper, yes hes injury prone to an extent and yes he has love boat issues hes working out, but hes got awesome talent and if it wasnt for payton manning for 49 tds he would of been MVP that year...which was not that long ago, i think i might pick brees over him also, but its rididculous to say o no its terrible if we get him because hes very good........but all in all id have brees as my first pick

I still wouldn't mind Culpepper. Him throwing deep balls to Chambers would be Great!

Culpep had one bad year last year and now he is overrated?
How do you come to that conclusion?

If your knee is ground beef how can you throw?
First he has to get healthy, which he cant warm up until July, and despite belief its POSSIBLE he would be ready to go in OCT. He would have to learn our system, even if it has hints of his old coach in it.(Lenihan)
Im not ready to give this guy the first 5 games of the season to blow for a learning curve. Additionally, how much will this guy cost? A second rounder and I bet a whole lot of money. Yes he is good, but I would take Brees, who is healthy, younger and gets BETTER EVERY YEAR! Does Culpepper seem to be getting better? Nope
Brees is not my first choice, but he is a franchise worthy QB. Saban and Mularky will turn him into a winner.

Wasn't Marino's achilles ground beef? He threw quite well.
Brees had a good year last year, but to say he got better isn't accurate.

You dont think Drew Brees is damaged goods?? He's coming off a CRAZY SHoulder Injury and Surgery...Culpepper was just his knee. We need our QB to THROW...not RUN. Culpepper with Chambers, Booker, McMichael and BROWN. Oh boy...Culpepper never really had a home run type of RB behind him in Minny. I'd be happy with either one, but if you wanna talk about Damaged Goods....Then let's talk about Brees' THROWING SHOULDER as opposed to Culpepper's KNEE. QB's dont throw with their KNEES.

They're both coming back from surgery....I like Brees better cos he's younger and his injury wasn't as bad.

Ozzy rules!!
